Pet Bereavement Services
At Telford Pet Services, we understand, through our own experiences, how deeply sad and debilitating the loss of a treasured pet can be. Often, our grief and expressions of loss are not acknowledged in the same way as grief for a human, yet we know the depth of feeling can be just as strong. This can leave you feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure where to turn.
Loss can occur in many forms, through death, whether sudden or expected, or forced separation such as theft or relationship breakdown. Whatever the circumstances, we are here to provide compassionate, non-judgmental support.
Julie offers individual, person-centred pet bereavement sessions tailored to your unique needs. These can start before the loss occurs, as anticipatory grief is equally distressing. Difficult decisions, such as euthanasia, may need to be made, and the support of a trusted, empathetic counsellor can make all the difference during this challenging time.
While friends, family, and colleagues may mean well, they may not always say the right thing or fully understand your pain, which can lead to feelings of self-doubt or frustration. Julie offers a safe and empathetic environment for you to explore your feelings and find ways to cope. The process is yours to develop, whether you need a listening ear, emotional support, or practical advice for improving your well-being and moving forward.

A New Perspective on Grief
“Grief is the price we pay for love. It reflects the depth of the bond we shared and the joy our companion animals brought into our lives.”
